One Man…

Graham Hall tormented me for a month when I was getting SkinnyCakes ready to open. He was my contractor and all around handyman, taking care of all the jobs Max couldn’t handle, or didn’t have time for. Every day I would come in and find Graham, a sweat soaked t-shirt clinging to his tight body. The man did things to me that no man ever had. His muscles had muscles. He was big, from his shoulders to his feet. Broad shoulders, biceps the size of a small child, a chest the rippled with his every move, not that I was looking.

That’s not true. Graham was a man who demanded you look at him.

And then there was the kind, gentle man beneath that made-for-awesome-sex body.

Any woman with a pulse would have been tormented by him.

One Woman…

He came for the puffy treats and stayed for the precious woman.

Abby is moving on with her life. After she caught her husband cheating, live and in person, she divorces him and starts living for herself instead of doing everything for him. Abby opens her own bakery, changes her look, and moves out on her own for the first time ever. The only thing she isn’t ready to do is date.

Graham helped Abby get her bakery up and running. As a carpenter he loved the challenge of turning the blank space into a bakery. Even more than that, he loved getting to know the beautiful new tenant.

When Abby’s ex learns she’s moving on with her life and doesn’t need him, he wants to remind her of everything she gave up when she left him. Everything Abby was happy to leave behind.

Now Abby is stuck between the man who made her feel needed, but never wanted, and a man who makes her feel wanted, but she doesn’t need him. Abby needs to figure out what she wants – the man from her past, the one who promises her a future, or the present she’s fallen in love with, alone.

So Many Challenges…

Ever so slowly, he lowered my body, letting me feel exactly how turned on he was. “You want a man who can’t wait to have you, huh? A man who doesn’t care about anything besides your pleasure? Don’t you dare claim I’m not that man, Ab.”

The rasp of his voice skittered down my spine and settled between my thighs. There was a promise in his voice. One I knew he’d deliver on. But I had to make sure.

“Prove it.”

The words were barely out of my mouth when I was back in Graham’s arms. I met his kiss with a clash of teeth. My nails scraped down his back, and his hands lifted me until my legs wrapped around him. Neither of us could stop. Buttons flew as I tore his shirt open. The seams of my dress stretched to their limit as he tugged it from between us and over my head. He groaned when he saw the bra and panties I had on.

Puffy Precious Teaser 1

Meet Mary…

Headshot 2016

Mary E. Thompson grew up loving to read, like a good little girl. Many nights she would fall asleep with the flashlight still turned on as she hid under the covers trying to finish the last few pages of a book. As an adult, the light from her ereader means she doesn’t need a flashlight, but she still stays up way too late to finish a book.

When Mary’s not reading, she’s playing with her two kids or living out her own real life romance novel with her hubby. She has a weakness for chocolate, especially when it’s paired with peanut butter, and has been known to have a bad day just because there’s no chocolate in the house. Unless there’s wine. Then everything is okay.

Mary grew up in Buffalo, New York and swears she’s the only local to never ski or snowboard. Soccer was always her sport, with a couple adventures white water rafting and skydiving to keep things interesting. Mary moved to South Carolina for college but missed Buffalo every day. Yeah, she thinks she’s crazy, too. She somehow convinced her South Carolina born and bred hubby to return to Buffalo to raise their kids and live out their lives. He’s still not sure what he was thinking.
